The Ernst & Young Recruiting Team:
We are looking forward to meeting all of you during the recruiting season!

I hope you all had a great summer and are ready to begin another exciting school year! My name is May Lapira and a few short weeks ago I was a Senior in the Assurance practice and I am now on secondment as a Campus Recruiter. I graduated from the University of Toronto and began my career at Ernst & Young as a summer intern where I attended the firm’s International Intern Leadership Conference held annually in Orlando, Florida. Since joining full-time, I have had the opportunity to work in a number of industries such as not-for-profit, oil & gas, manufacturing and power & utilities. Aside from client-related work, I have been fortunate enough to be actively involved in many wonderful groups that help make Ernst & Young a great place to work such as the People First Committee, People Advisory Forum and of course, campus recruiting! I have met amazing people through these groups and many more amazing students through campus recruiting so I am looking forward to this recruiting season. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the movies, spa days and afternoon tea with friends. I am extremely excited to be a part of the firm’s Schulich recruiting team and am looking forward to meeting you all very soon!

I am a partner with Ernst & Young's GTA Audit practice and have been with the firm for 19 years. I graduated from Western and then completed my accounting courses at Laurier. Before becoming a partner, I spent two years as the National Director of Campus Recruiting for Ernst & Young. Through that role I was first introduced to the amazing students at York and knew that I wanted to stay involved throughout my career. Ten years later I still spend all of my recruiting time at York University and look forward to every autumn season where I meet our leaders of tomorrow. Away from work, Sunday morning golf with friends is always great fun, and the odd track day with the sports car or motorcycle helps to refresh the competitive senses. I look forward to meeting you all during the recruiting process this year!

Daniela Carcasole
Senior Manager, AABS
Hi everyone, my name is Daniela Carcasole and I am a Senior Manager in the Assurance practice. I am also a York University alumni. As a Manager in Ernst & Young’s GTA Audit group, I have been a part of the executive teams on many initial public offerings. In addition to auditing and recruiting, I have taught firm-wide courses on behalf of Ernst & Young’s Knowledge, Learning and Application group. Outside of the office, I am a huge Formula 1 fan and hope to follow the Grand Prix circuit around the world one day. As always, I am looking forward to the upcoming recruiting season at Schulich!
